Our flight from Sydney left at noon and we traveled back in time (a trippy concept) to LA and arrived at 6:30AM the same day. 12 hours of flight time and Sam didn't sleep a wink!! He wasn't screaming or anything awful like that, but wanted to play the whole time. Thank goodness for the inflight Thomas the Train cartoons!
Once we collected our bags and cleared customs, of course, he fell dead asleep in his stroller, little bugger. We had about 2 1/2 hours in LA before our connection to Atlanta and then to Norfolk. Mutti and Doug met us at the airport and Mary and Marley were waiting for us at home!! It was nice to be home after the long trip home. But now, the serious business of unpacking, laundry, and jetlag begins!
We've all been going to bed okay but we're all waking up at about 1AM thinking it's morning and spending a couple of hours late night before going back to bed at about 3....yuck.
More soon about the new addition to our family.... :)
